Alliant reports Q3 results down from a year ago

Madison-headquartered Alliant Energy Corp. reported a lower third-quarter profit than during the same period from a year ago, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The company had a profit of $227 million, or 90 cents per share, on revenue of $1.14 billion compared to a year ago when earnings were $259 million, or $1.02 per share, on revenue of $1.02 billion. The company expects full-year earnings to be $2.76 to $2.83 per share.
