Madison-based Alliant Energy is proposing a freeze to electricity and natural gas rates into 2021 in order to respond to an expected economic fallout resulting from the COVID-19, according to a release from the company.
The proposal filed with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin delays the periodic rate review the company otherwise would file this month.
