Profits fell slightly during Alliant Energy’s first quarter, in large part due to milder temperatures this year compared to the winter of 2014.
Net income came in at $96.6 million (87 cents/share) on revenues of $897.4 million. That compares to earnings of $108 million (97 cents/share) on revenues of $952.8 million a year earlier.
