Alliant Energy donates $9.3M to communities in 2024

Alliant Energy and its charitable foundation contributed nearly $9.3 million and 80,000 volunteer hours in 2024, supporting community safety, environmental initiatives, workforce readiness, and hunger relief, according to a press release.

The company invested in emergency services, awarding over $55,000 in safety grants to first responders across 37 communities. It also continued its One Million Trees initiative, surpassing the halfway mark by planting more than 551,000 trees since 2021.

To support workforce development, Alliant provided more than $103,000 in scholarships to over 100 students. Additionally, its Rural Hunger Initiative, in partnership with food banks, allocated $1 million over two years to fight food insecurity in Iowa and Wisconsin.
