The AEC Comprehensive Master Plan Oversight Committee unanimously approved moving forward with a detailed plan for the redevelopment of the 164-acre Alliant Energy Center campus that calls for an upgrade of the 40-year-old Veterans Memorial Coliseum and adding a hotel, restaurants, and other amenities to the site.
The project now heads to Dane County Board committees for further review, according to a release.
