All seven former champions of the American Family Insurance Championship have committed to play in the 2025 PGA TOUR Champions event this June, which raises money for local charities. Players will include 2024 defending champion Ernie Els, host Steve Stricker (2023), Thonghai Jaidee (2022), two-time champion Jerry Kelly (2019, 2021), Scott McCarron (2018), Fred Couples (2017) and Kirk Triplett (2016).

The 2025 tournament, to be held June 6-8, introduces two significant changes: First, the tournament is moving to a new host golf course — TPC Wisconsin — on Madison’s north side. The course was co-designed by Wisconsin native and tournament host, Steve Stricker.

Second, the AmFam Champ will debut a new format. A field of 76 players, organized into 38 teams of two, will participate in a 54-hole competition featuring best ball and scramble scoring formats promising new energy and low scores.

The final tournament field will be officially announced on Friday, May 30. Tickets for the American Family Insurance Championship are available for purchase here.
