Alimentari opened a new location at 2623 Monroe St. in Madison, according to The Capital Times. Chef Dan Bonnano owns the Italian American deli with restaurateur Bonnie Arent and his brother, Enrico Bonnano.
The owners last year announced that Alimentari would move from its east side Madison location in the Willy Street neighborhood to the former Roman Candle Pizzeria space. The new 3,200-square-foot space joins an 1,800-square-foot spot on South Brearly Street and will offer sandwiches, deli salads, sliced meat and cheese, fresh ravioli, pre-portioned sauces, dry goods, Madison Sourdough bread, and some alcoholic options.
The owners plan to add catering services in the future. Open hours are Tuesday–Saturday from 9 a.m.–7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Alimentari is closed on Mondays and does not offer in-person dining.
