Local craft brewery and restaurant Ale Asylum, located at 2002 Pankratz St., will close at the end of October, and the business has been put up for sale, according to a Capital Times report. The largest brewery in Madison, Ale Asylum will sell its brewing operations along with its 45,000-square-foot brewery, restaurant, and brewpub on Madison’s northeast side. The business opened in 2012 and produced about 14,500 barrels of beer last year.
