Madison’s largest craft brewing company, Ale Asylum, has closed, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The company posted an announcement on social media and its homepage about the closing that will put 15 people out of work. The brewery has been in operation since 2006 and was located near the Dane County Regional Airport. A potential sale last month fell through and the 45,000-square-foot brewing plant has been shuttered. The brewery had closed its kitchen last fall but kept the taproom and brewery open.
