Madison startup AkitaBox received $1.1 million in seed funding.

The company started in 2015 and has created software used for “proactive building management,” according to a release. Its software automates maintenance, planning, and inspections in building management.

The seed fund was led by Rock Oak Capital Partners LLC, the investment vehicle of Practice Velocity in partnership with members of Stateline Angels.
