The Associated Press is reporting “the highest wait times ever under the Transportation Security Administration,” the agency’s acting head told Congress on Wednesday.
Congress still has not met on a deal to reopen during a partial shutdown that has TSA agents working without pay.
The TSA’s Ha Nguyen McNeill said airport workers are experiencing piling up bills, evictions and more.
The shutdown has now lasted for 40 days.
