Dane County Regional Airport reported the total number of passengers getting on and off planes was down 87% in June compared to the same month in 2019, according to a report from Wisconsin Public Radio.
Director Kim Jones said traffic has improved from the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic when the airport was a “ghost town,” and more and more people are returning to the airport terminal in recent weeks. However, things have yet to return to normal.
