One of the area’s largest employers, Madison-based health care nonprofit Agrace, announced new initiatives for workers including a new $17 per hour minimum pay rate for all employees, a medical coverage premium discount for lower wage earners, and a year-end “gratitude bonus” to offset rising inflation. Agrace employs a workforce of nearly 900 individuals including caregivers, nursing assistants, nurses, social workers, nurse practitioners, and physicians.
