The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin and its local members will host the third annual “She Builds Wisconsin” summer camp at the Madison College Truax Campus.

The free, week-long camp is designed for middle-school-aged girls and focused on the exploration of the construction trades, architecture and engineering through hands-on experiences and field trips.

Nearly 30 middle school girls from around Dane County and beyond will participate in the camp running Aug, 4-8.  The camp will be hosted at the Madison College Construction & Remodeling Building located at 1849 Wright St.

AGC’s “She Builds Wisconsin” campaign comes in response to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ finding that women represented just 11% of the entire U.S. construction workforce in 2024.
