Point Burger Bar, featuring Point Beer from Stevens Point Brewery, is scheduled to opens Nov. 28, a couple months behind schedule after sustaining $800,000 in flood damage in August.

Just weeks before its planned grand opening, the restaurant lost 37 70-inch TVs and 19 video games to flood waters, according to owner Brian Ward in a Wisconsin State Journalreport. Like most businesses affected in the historic floods, the restaurant did not have flood insurance.

Point Burger Bar, in the old Quaker Steak & Lube at 2259 Deming Way in Middleton, has undergone substantial remodeling and offers burgers made from beef, duck, turkey, bison, and salmon. There’s a vegan option, as well.
