After delays, Waunakee workforce housing project opens

The Village on Main apartments at 703 W. Main St. in Waunakee is now leasing after many delays, according to a Waunakee Tribunereport. The project, affected by pandemic-related delays and other factors, is the village’s first workforce housing project, offering 10 apartments priced at market rate, and 40 priced at different median income levels. The complex includes a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments along with a playground. Several of the units are wheelchair accessible.
