The second annual Acton Children’s Business Fair on Saturday, April 13 will host up to 34 young entrepreneurs in the main hall of Acton Academy Madison West, located within Westminster Presbyterian Church at 4100 Nakoma Road. The event, running from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. is free and open to the public.
Participating youth will create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace. The children are responsible for the setup, sales, and interacting with customers.
Cash prizes will be awarded in each of the competing age groups (6–7, 8–10, and 11–12) for “Most Business Potential,” “Most Original Business Idea,” and “Most Impressive Presentation.”
