Accuray, the California-based parent of Madison’s TomoTherapy, posted narrower losses for its fiscal fourth quarter ending June 30. Accuray’s net loss was $9.8 million (13 cents/share) on revenues of $102 million. A year earlier, the company reported a net loss of $18.7 million (25 cents/share) on revenues of $84.9 million.
The company, which makes radiation machines used to treat cancer, also cut its net loss for the full year compared to 2013. Its net loss of $35.4 million (47 cents/share) on revenues of $369.4 million for the full year compared favorably to last year’s net loss of $103.2 million ($1.41/share) on revenues of $316.0 million.
