A new Mexican restaurant, Taco Madre, opened in the former Daisy Café and Cupcakery spot at 2827 Atwood Ave., according to The Capital Times. The latter business operated at the location for 15 years before closing in August.
Taco Madre, opened by Jose Vicente Zecua Mendez, the owner of downtown’s A La Brasa, offers a similar menu to that establishment and seats 60 guests. A separate event room is available for reservation for groups of 10–50 people. The restaurant is open daily from 9 a.m.–10 p.m.
