Early this morning the state Assembly sent the two-year $72.7 billion state budget bill to Gov. Scott Walker.

The budget passed 52–46, with 11 Republicans joining every Democrat in opposition to the budget.

Walker, who has repeatedly said he wants to have the budget finalized before he formally announces his White House bid, has just days to sign the bill before his scheduled July 13 candidacy announcement.

It’s yet to be determined, according to Walker aides, when and where the budget signing will take place.
