71 workers affected by Portage Plastics closing

In a notification letter to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, the Portage Plastics Corp. stated 71 employees will be affected by the company’s permanent closing on Dec. 31, 2022. The company, located at 300 Boeck Road in Portage, did not give a reason for the facility shutdown. The employees are not represented by a union.
