Seven Wisconsin billionaires and several other notable Wisconsin business leaders made Forbes magazine’s annual Forbes 400, which lists the 400 wealthiest Americans, according to the BizTimes. The list includes:

  • John Menard Jr., No. 37, the founder of Eau Claire-based home improvement retailer Menards, with a net worth of $22.9 billion (up 1.8% from $22.5 billion in 2023);

  • Diane Hendricks, No. 38, the co-founder and chairman of Beloit-based wholesale distributor of roofing, siding, and windows ABC Supply, with a net worth of $21.9 billion (up 13.5% from $19.3 billion in 2023);

  • Judy Faulkner, No. 154, the founder and CEO of Verona-based health care records company Epic Systems, with a net worth of $7.7 billion (up 4.1% from $7.4 billion in 2023);

  • Helen Johnson-Leipold, No. 278, the chairman and CEO of Racine-based Johnson Outdoors, the chairman of Racine-based Johnson Financial Group, and an heir to family-owned cleaning products company S.C. Johnson, with a net worth of $4.8 billion (down 2% from $4.9 billion in 2023);

  • H. Fisk Johnson and S. Curtis Johnson, No. 283, the chairman and CEO of Racine-based S.C. Johnson and the former chairman of Diversey, respectively, each with a net worth of $4.7 billion (down 2.1% from $4.8 billion each in 2023); and

  • James Cargill II, No. 288, one of 12 heirs to Minnetonka, Minnesota-based Cargill, with a net worth of $4.6 billion (down 8% from $5 billion in 2023).
