The Wisconsin Public Service Commission is seeking businesses, schools, governments, and other organizations in Wisconsin to apply for $7 million in state funding for energy-related projects, according to the commission’s website.

The grants will be awarded this spring for projects that reduce energy consumption, increase the use of clean energy or alternative transportation technologies, or increase energy resilience. The grant program was created in 2017 and uses a revolving loan from the 2009 Federal Recovery Act.
