CEOs of Tomorrow’s 14th annual Pitch & Launch event saw six Dane County teenagers pitch their ideas and inventions and sell their business ideas to the public, WKOW reports. The event is the capstone for the nonprofit’s These Teens Mean Busine$$ Incubator Program, which provides entrepreneurship training for its youth participants.

The teens’ ideas aimed to promote positive change in the community, and some won cash to help build their businesses. Atifullah Hakeemi was awarded a $1,000 check to help fund his business, which focuses on suicide prevention. Another participant, Khadi Sylla, sold a meal kit highlighting African cuisine.
