Steps 4 – 6: Use LinkedIn Business Pages

4. Review your business page. LinkedIn will post your information and will pull data from individual accounts to populate your company listing with information on current employees, former employees, new hires, etc. It will also create a profile of your company’s demographics in terms of age, gender and primary educational institutions.

5. Monitor your followers for leads, for competitive intelligence or for general business information.

6. Follow companies that are competitors, current or prospective partners, sources of potential employees or those that you find interesting for other business reasons; to receive status updates from LinkedIn when their profiles change, new hires are added, jobs are posted, etc. You can set the frequency of updates and types of updates you wish to receive from these companies.

Note: You will be able to see employees at that company that are within your network up to 3 degrees of separation, so the bigger your network, the more employees you’ll see listed.
