The Alliant Energy Foundation raised $520,000 to support programs that fight hunger and food insecurity in Iowa and Wisconsin. The amount is the largest on record in the company’s 18 years of hosting its annual Drive Out Hunger event.
In total, the event has raised over $6.4 million for hunger relief and provided over 25 million meals to help those facing food insecurity. Hosted annually during Hunger Action Month in September, Drive Out Hunger is Alliant Energy’s annual golf event and signature fundraiser connecting its business partners across the country to programs that alleviate hunger.
Funds raised from Drive Out Hunger will be distributed to seven local food banks serving more than 100 counties where Alliant Energy provides service, including:

In addition to hunger and housing, the Alliant Energy Foundation supports programs that promote workforce readiness, environmental stewardship, and community safety and engagement.
