Downtown Mount Horeb welcomed a new three-story, 19,000-square-foot indoor market on July 19, according to Madison Magazine. MoHo Maker’s Market Square offers goods from artisans, craftspeople and entrepreneurs.

The building can accommodate over 100 vendors and has roughly 70 at the present time — about 50% of whom are from Mount Horeb. Represented artistic media include woodworking, illustration, painting and fiber art.

Vendors currently hold short-term agreements, but long-term agreements are being discussed.

The market’s grand opening saw about 1,500 visitors to the first floor’s general vendor section, which also has an in-house coffee shop, Moho Jo’s Coffee, and its second floor, which houses a maker’s mall and artist studios.

Three spaces on the lower level will reportedly be used for classroom-style gatherings in the future.
