28 Madison-area nonprofits get $25K grants from Ascendium

Ascendium has gifted Good Neighbor Grants to 40 nonprofits in the various communities where its employees live and work. Each nonprofit will receive a $25,000 grant to fund essential community projects, such as educational initiatives and support services for low-income families. The grants total $1 million.

This year, Ascendium employees participated at record levels of engagement and ultimately selected 28 Madison-area nonprofits and 12 nonprofits in locations where remote employees are based.

  • Girls on the Run of South Central Wisconsin;

  • Madison Public Art Project;

  • Mission Nutrition;

  • Nuestro Mundo Inc.;

  • OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center;

  • Rape Crisis Center;

  • River Food Pantry;

  • Sauk Prairie Youth Hockey Association;

  • Second Harvest Food Bank of Southern Wisconsin;

  • Sun Prairie Public Library Foundation;

  • Tellurian Behavioral Health;

  • The Dylan LaMere Memorial Scholarship; and

  • The Northside Planning Council.
