The Madison Police Department is investigating after 27 First Student buses were damaged with graffiti, according to a police incident report.
An employee arrived at the First Student bus department located along the 200 block of the West Beltline Highway on Thursday, May 1. It was determined that someone used black spray paint on the buses sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Much of the graffiti made statements such as “free Palestine” and “stop the war.” Â
Employees estimate several thousand dollars of damage was done. No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
