To build long-term economic recovery in communities across the state, Gov. Tony Evers announced $250 million in neighborhood investment and health care infrastructure grant programs. The programs are funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and include a $200 million Neighborhood Investment Fund grant, as well as a $50 million Healthcare Infrastructure Capital Investment grant for transformational capital projects. The aim is to help neighborhoods recover from the pandemic with housing projects, transit, and child care solutions, and increase access to health care in underserved communities.
