On Tuesday, Veterans Day, the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development announced the 2025 recipients of the Vets Ready Employer Initiative.
The awards are given to businesses in Wisconsin that provide support to veterans and their families, increase veteran hiring rates and boost the Wisconsin workforce.
A record 25 businesses received the distinction this year.
“Wisconsin veterans bring invaluable experience and skills to the workforce — assets that employers are looking for to fill high-skill job openings across industries,” DWD Secretary Amy Pechacek said in a statement. “We’re proud to congratulate these employers for going above and beyond by supporting veterans and their families in the workforce.”
Eligibility for recognition in the Vets Employer Initiative requires employers to prioritize veteran hires, connect and support the veteran community and offer veteran support services to employees in their transition from military to civilian work life.
Among the 25 businesses recognized this year, eight are new. Recipients are promoted by DWD staff, veteran agencies and workforce partners through the DWD website. The winners are below, with first-time winners marked with an asterisk.
