A grant event at the American Family Insurance corporate headquarters in Madison today revealed that the 2024 PGA Tour Champions American Family Insurance Championship raised $2,505,000 — breaking last year’s event’s record amount and bringing the total charitable funds raised to $19.7 million since 2016’s inaugural event.

Roughly half of this year’s proceeds will be awarded to Madison’s American Family Children’s Hospital, with the rest distributed among 163 mainly local charities.

Held at University Ridge Golf Course in June, the 2024 event saw nearly 1,000 volunteers. The tournament has had an estimated $115 million impact since the inaugural year.

Next year’s tournament will be held at TPC Wisconsin, also located in Madison. Over 650 individuals have already volunteered.
