$200M in federal grants earmarked for local governments, tribal nations

Gov. Tony Evers outlined a plan for $10 million to be allocated to Wisconsin tribal nations while the remaining $190 million of federal CARES Act money will be split among counties, cities, villages, and towns, according to a press release.

The funds must be used on incurred expenses related to COVID-19 such as election expenses, PPE purchases, testing, and contact tracing.
