National LGBT Chamber of Commerce affiliate chambers, including the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, and Grubhub have partnered to offer funding for struggling restaurants impacted by COVID-19, according to a release from Grubhub. The Grubhub Community Impact Grant Program grants are expected to range from $5,000 to $100,000 and will be offered to businesses throughout the country. For June, NGLCC was named the official partner of Grubhub’s Donate the Change program, which has raised tens of millions of dollars for organizations since launching in late 2018. The NGLCC has set a goal to allocate 30% of the funds to businesses owned by people of color and transgender/gender nonconforming individuals. Restaurants can apply for grants at www.nglcc.org/ghgrant by Oct. 12, 2021.
