The first-ever Men of Color Summit will be held at the Pyle Center on the UW–Madison campus this Saturday, April 6, according to Madison365. The one-day, student-led event will take place from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
An opening keynote will be presented by Eminent Development Corp. founder Julian Walters, to be followed by two breakout sessions featuring six discussion topics that will range from personal branding to men’s mental health.
The summit originated in the Business School but is open to all and free to attend. It is sponsored by the UW Division of Diversity, Equity, and Educational Achievement; the College of Letters and Science; the School of Education; the Business School; and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Advance registration is encouraged.
