Compeer Financial awarded a $1,000 grant to the Waunakee Area Chamber of Commerce for the village’s Farmers and Makers Market, according to the Tribune Enterprise. Funds will go towards marketing efforts to attract vendors and expand the market’s music and activities.
The market will open June 4 and continue on Wednesday afternoons through Oct. 15. It is held at Reeve Park at 100 E. Main St. and features fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers and products from local artisans.
