The Madison Plan Commission has unanimously approved the American Exchange project on the Capitol Square, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The approval comes despite concerns by the restaurant Eno Vino that the project will block its sweeping upper-floor views of the state Capitol.

The $125 million project by Urban Land Interests will be a nine-story redevelopment on the 10 block of South Pinckney Street that combines preservation, demolition, and new construction on the Capitol Square.
