The nonprofit Urban League of Greater Madison (ULGM) will host its Unity Picnic for the 11th year running on July 26 from noon-4 p.m. at the Black Business Hub, according to Madison365.
The event will gather community members for free food provided by BP Smokehouse and Kipp’s Catering, music and family-friendly activities.
Information tables at the event will offer a variety of community resources. The picnic will also feature ULGM’s Pop-Up Market, made up of local vendors selling food, cosmetics, clothes and more.
Shops and companies within the Black Business Hub will also be open during the event. Among these are newly-opened Rasta Barista, Tailer Nicole Wine & Cupcakes and Inspire Barbershop.
