Nonprofit 100 Men of Dane County awarded an $88,000 grant to Mentoring Positives, an east side organization that provides mentorship to vulnerable youth, Madison365 reports. 100 Men of Dane County provides grants to local organizations focused on helping women and children overcome diversity and reach their full potential. 

Mentoring Positives was one of three finalists among dozens of organizations that applied for the funds. 100 Men of Dane County reportedly receives 30 to 40 grant requests per quarter. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County and Felicia’s Closet were also finalists.

The investment from 100 Men of Dane County aims to help Mentoring Positives bolster its local relationships and programming related to mentorship, athletics, entrepreneurship and families.
