A construction worker died Aug. 7 after falling through a roof at a construction site in the town of Castle Rock in Grant County, according to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said a construction crew was repairing a roof on a farm building on Hwy. Q when a 44-year-old man fell through the roof onto a concrete floor about 30 feet below.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is under investigation by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
