Keith Burrows, the co-owner of Republic of Letters bookstore in Mineral Point, has a quest for adventurers: visit independently owned bookstores.
And thus, Indie Bookshop Quest 2026, was born.
The bookstore crawl features 35 bookstores from across Wisconsin in a monthlong event that began June 1, Wisconsin Public Radio reported. There’s even a map of the bookstores with quests to participate in at each store like meeting a store pet.
