Despite a wayward war with Iran, gasoline prices have dropped for the second week in a row.
According to AAA, the average gas price on Wednesday in Wisconsin was $4.069 as of 8:30 a.m. This still represents an increase of just over $1 per gallon from the same time last year when gas was $2.96 but is a decrease of 27 cents from the week before.
Dane County’s average cost per gallon sits at $4.04, with Madison’s average at $4.06.
National price averages are also seeing a downward trend at about $4.26.
