Wisconsin’s four leading childcare associations will host a Child Care Gubernatorial Candidate Forum for the first time.
The forum gives providers, parents and voters across the state a chance to ask the candidates for governor about their views and plans for childcare in the state.
It will be held on July 19 beginning at 4:30 p.m. (doors open an hour earlier) at IBEW 159, located at 303 Fen Oak Drive, and will also be available to watch online.
The forum is organized by Heather Murray, owner of Arthouse Preschool, and sponsored by the Wisconsin Early Childhood Association, Wisconsin Child Care Administrators Association, Wisconsin Family Child Care Association and Wisconsin Head Start Association.
So far, candidates Joel Brennan, David Crowley, Francesca Hong, Sara Rodriguez and Kelda Royswill participate.
RSVP is required for in-person or online attendance.
