The Willy Street Co-op announced Thursday it will relocate its production kitchen to Garver Feed Mill next spring, quadrupling its production space for hot bar, grab & go deli foods, and bakery items.

The Garver space will help the cooperative meet current demands and set it up for future growth, according to a press release.

The Willy Street Co-op’s production kitchen has operated out of 1882 E. Main St. since 2005, but it could not be expanded at that location to serve the opening of second and third stores in Middleton and on Madison’s north side
The co-op, which opened in 1974, has more than 34,000 consumer-owners and three stores.
