John Miller, secretary of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., will speak on the Wisconsin innovation economy and other topics during a luncheon and fireside chat during Madison’s annual Forward Fest.

Miller will be joined by moderator Maggie Brickerman, president of the Wisconsin Technology Council, on Aug. 19, at the Madison Club, 5 E. Wilson St. in Madison.

Registration and a buffet lunch begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the fireside chat from noon to 1 p.m.

The fireside chat also will explore the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and economic development priorities, along with WEDC’s role in supporting startups, entrepreneurs and investors.
