A new, 157,000-square-foot, 16-story student housing development at North Frances and West Gilman streets aims to provide students with housing for the 2028 fall semester.
Developed by Villas Student Housing and designed by Rhode Partners, this will be the fourth student housing project for Rhodes Partners. The building will also have below-grade parking and retail space, and 466 bedrooms.
“Villas has been searching for the right opportunity to enter the Madison market for many years. This iconic location on North Frances, just a few steps off State Street, is the perfect location to showcase our brand of boutique one-of-a-kind projects,” Villas Student Housing’s Grant Zucker said in a statement.
