The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs partnered with the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation to give 20 veteran-owned businesses laptops with QuickBooks and nine with $5,000 in equity injections.
“The WDVA has been a great partner for us, and we’re so appreciative of their financial support,” Kathryn Dunn, WWBIC president and CEO, said in a statement. “Providing training and then backing it up with useful equipment and equity makes a huge impact for our veteran clients.”
Amberlulu, Beyond Yoga, Driftless Provisions, Fireside Cabins, Pulaski Community Masters, Purple Basil, S. Barnes Designs, Sullivan Family Farm and Weld X Metal Works were awarded with equity injections.
Acres Aweigh Farm Stay, AdjunctPro, The Cat’s MeWow, DMP Development Analytics, Full Spectrum Health Services, Gear Inspections, Grant Canyon Outfitters, Harpoon Lures, Her Lounge MKE, Highland Cottage Cafe, Honey Bee Solar MKE, Jump Street Party Rentals, Living Vine Wellness, Rain Drop Irrigation, SkyLabMKE, Skytech Dynamics, Spirit Mind & Body Yoga, Springkleen, Team Royalle Bookkeeping, and Warden Group Wisconsin were awarded laptops.
