Demand is up for electric vehicles in part due to the Iran war and its effect on gas prices, which have soared before stabilizing recently.
According to Cox Automotive and a CNBC report, that is driving the price of used EVs upward.
Used EV prices rose 12% when compared to June 2025. Non-EVs rose 1.7% during the same time.
According to Cox’s Kelley Blue Book, the average price of a used EV as of May was $37,083.
