Tuesday will mark new talks between the U.S. and Iran, CNBC reported.
President Donald Trump said the talks in Qatar would be happening on Monday.
“IRAN HAS REQUESTED A MEETING. IT WILL TAKE PLACE TOMORROW IN DOHA!,” he said in a post on Truth Social.
Iran did not respond. It is yet another peace deal promised since the Iran war began at the end of February.
Both countries sent strikes at one another over the weekend.
The attacks on each other have not led to a rise in oil prices, with the price per barrel sitting at around $70, which is only slightly above the price per barrel before the war began.
Oil has risen to over $100 due to the skirmish, and other items like food and fertilizer have also felt the effects of the war.
