How scientists know what they know will be explored during a free, in-person and virtual forum on Oct. 13, from 4 to 5 p.m., at the Discovery Building at UW-Madison, 330 N. Orchard St.
The Fearless Science Forum will be led by Brad Schwartz, CEO of the Morgridge Institute for Research.
Schwartz will be joined by three other panelists:
- Dr. Keith Yamamoto, vice chancellor of science policy and strategy and professor of cellular and molecular pharmacology at the University of California-San Francisco
- Dr. Paul Ahlquist, director of the John W. and Jeanne M. Rowe Center for Research in Virology at the Morgridge Institute for Research
- Dr. Melissa Skala, the Carol Skornicka Chair at the Morgridge Institute for Research and a professor of biomedical engineering and medical physics.
